Mission 2 ─ Rosenberg Kingdom

My new name is Razel, today I was summoned to another world which is one of magic and fantasy.

In this world just like those mentioned in the light novels and anime I watch, it has a fight against the demon king.

After being summoned I met the beautiful and busty queen Barbara. She told me several things as she invited me to have tea with her daughter in the palace gardens.

Apparently, the whole world was at peace, until one day, the king of the land of demons decided to attack humankind. It seems to be a territorial issue, as the demons reportedly ran out of their resources and are now looking for new ones.

That makes sense compared to the attacks in novels where they attack just they want.

Twenty years ago the attack began. The demons came from their country, the land of demons, onigashima. Which is a continent.

This country is located on a single continent.

It is a small, third-rate country.

Five years after the demons took over the land of the elves, it is where the king, Barbara's husband, marched together with his army as the demon army was approaching the country.

Unfortunately, the king died as did his entire army.

Barbara thought it would be the end of her, but thanks to a world power called the Arklight Empire, they were able to delay the demonic army and even push them back.

Since then, it has been fifteen years of a war where some try to advance and others try to stop them.

That's why they summoned a hero, they wanted to end the war once and for all so that no more blood would be spilled.

Sounds like a good story for a game or novel.

The problem is that it is very dangerous for the demon army to enter human territory.

Several countries, one called the Ideal Empire and a smaller one called Titania Holy Kingdom, have joined in this war, it is thanks to them that the word "hero summoning" came up and the queen knew that something like that was in store here.

I don't know what will happen if it gets out that I'm a summoned one, I'm a little afraid of that. I hope nothing bad happens.

Back to the queen, the garden is very beautiful, there are so many flowers with shapes I don't know and colors I never saw.

But the most beautiful thing is the row of big breasted maids around the table.

"Usually so, but in your case I'd like to know what element you have. According to the book, the summoned one acquires special abilities."

"Special abilities."

(That mean... cheat skills?)

"That sounds good, let's go when we're done eating."

Servant Cordelia sent me a murderous look when I spoke as if I was going to address my mother.

"I-I'm sorry... I'm not familiar with royal etiquette."

The queen put her hand to her mouth, letting out a delighted laugh.

In that room a group of people were gathered.Among them was the same old man by the name of Gregore, the old butler and the one who stood out the most among them was a little old man.

Barbara turned to the old butler.

"Glenn, is everything ready?"

"Yes, Your Majesty, everything is more than ready."

"Good."

"By the way..."

Barbara turned to look at me and then pointed to the old butler.

"This man is my right hand, the chief butler of all servants, Glenn Whiteberg."

"A pleasure to formally meet you, hero Razel."

The old butler introduced himself formally, it makes me feel a bit embarrassed to see him bow to show his greetings.

"I also regret his late introduction, this is Cordelia Evans, head of all the maids and my other hand."

"Nice to meet you, hero."

The maid leaned in, that made her breasts jiggle, thank you very much.

Finally, the small man approached.

The small man was bald and gave the impression of a snake, Barbara introduced him.

The queen said. "Please put your hand on the jewel."

I listened to her and put my hand on the jewel.

After doing so, a great light shone which illuminated the whole room.

I removed it after that.

Gregore is reading something that looks like fax paper coming out of the back of the jewel.

Hey, isn't that pretty surreal?

"Oh!"

Said the old man, making everyone curious.

"Well?"

Olgren said, making me feel scared for a moment.

It reminded me of novels where this exact situation happened and everyone had hopes for the hero, but then something came out that made him look like the most useless of them all and he was discarded.

I'm afraid of that coming out.

But when he spoke, I was really shocked.

"It's... lightning attribute!"

The voices they said even scared me more.

"Oh no... that means she will train him."

"I feel sorry for him, he'll die on the first day."

"He would have better had a dark one so he could use the revive dead spell."

Even the queen was nervous.
